Responsibilities Include

• Provide safe and timely transportation to the Head Start preschool children, ages 3-5 years old
• Runs a fixed route as determined by the Versa Trans software.
• Completes daily pre- and post-trip inspections
• Ensure that the bus is mechanically sound, clean, and meets DOT requirements.
• Provides security, maintenance, classroom or front desk coverage as needed by the Center Director

Specific Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid CDL license with passenger, air brake, S endorsements and Yellow Card
• Must be familiar with the city of Indianapolis, its traffic laws and surrounding areas.
• Must have an insurable driving record
