Head Start Program:
Children will be considered for Head Start participation who are:
- 3 or 4 years old on or before August 1 prior to the September enrollment, AND
- From families whose incomes are at or below the federal poverty income guidelines, or a child with a diagnosed disability whose family's income is at or below 150% federal poverty income guidelines.
The majority of our Head Start slots are for four-year-old children, with fewer available for three-year-olds. Five-year-olds who are not eligible for public kindergarten, and whose birth date is after August 1, may be accepted.

Early Head Start Program:
The eligibility requirements for the Early Head Start program include:
- Pregnant mother, or families with children 0-3 years old.
- Family meets federal low-income guidelines.
- Parent(s) enrolled in school or employed full time.
